Here we go Honey...
Well its official Tony and I have a 3 year old... And the weekend couldn't have gone any better... It definatly made alot of memories for the years to come...
We started it out with a trip to Build-a-Bear with one of his friends and missed the one who couldn't come... As we were walking down the hall of Fashion Place Mall I notice a Stormtrooper and Darth Vader from Star Wars (being that was his party theme I was in total disbelief) and so were the rest of the crew that were there with us... We couldn't even believe it... Call it fate, call it coincidence call it whatever but we had NO CLUE they were going to be there... And the reason they were there you ask??? To roll out some Star Wars outfits for the bears... Crazy huh...
Anyways... Hayden, who was dressed up in his cute Star Wars tee-shirt bonded immediately with the Star Wars crew... Darth Vader then took Hayden's hand and helped him make his bear... It was the best time... I'll admit that I cried a time or two only because I was so happy for my little man... After Build-a-Bear we headed home for a small group of friends and family too help us celebrate... On such a cold pre-snowy day our soup and sandwich lunch hit the spot... We did presents then cake...
Now the cute story about cake time... As we all gathered around Hayden and his Darth Vader, lightsaber cake I asked him if he was ready for us to sing... He then told all of us "No you and you and you not sing, Hayden sings" I then asked him "You're going to sing to yourself???" He said "yes" so I light the candle and we all stood around and listened to Hayden sing Happy Birthday to himself... We all laughed so hard... It really was an incredible weekend...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAYDEN !!!!
Frosty the Snowman:
Hayden's birthday weekend ended with a snow storm... And when we got home from a birthday dinner with some great friends Sunday night Daddy got Hayden and I with a snow ball... Hayden was laughing so hard you couldn't help but laugh yourself... The snowball fight was Hayden and I v.s. Daddy and it was a pretty good fight... After we were done we decided to make our very first family snowman... I love my little family!!!

Primary Childrens (and my miracle) and Halloween...
HALLOWEEN:
Halloween was fun this year... As I posted earlier Hayden loves Star Wars so Halloween just wouldn't be Halloween without him being someone from Star Wars
SO...
He had so much fun trick or treating... And it is just so much fun being his mom!!!
PRIMARY CHILDRENS (and my miracle):
We had our yearly check up at Primary's last week... Now for those of you who don't know why we would be going to Primary's for a check up here is my little miracle's story...
Our lives changed forever on July 13,2006... It was our first ultrasound... The tech was showing us our little boy, his hands, feet, his cute little face and we were just in awe of the whole thing... She said she was going to get a doctor to come and look at everything with us, we thought things were fine... Until that doctor came in... The very first thing out of her mouth was "do either of you have birth defects in your family?" still excited about what we had just seen we say "no not at all" with her reply "well we are dealing with one now"... We then find out that Hayden has an encephalocele, (a defect in the closing of the skull (the brain then begins to grow on the outside of the skull)... If you google the images you'll realize just how lucky we are)... Anyways the same doctor then asked us when we wanted to schedule the abortion (NO JOKE) without even thinking Tony and I said "no, no abortion" she then continued in telling us that depending on the severity of the encephalocele our son may not walk, talk, hear, see or even be born alive... He was still our little boy... The next four months leading up to delivery was filled with countless doctors appointments, Neurosurgeon Conferences discussing our monthly ultrasounds, NICU meetings discussing the possible surgery and what would happen... On Nov 20, 2006 I had an amniocentesis to see if he was ready to come into the world... On Nov 22, 2006 we had our little boy with a golfball sized encephalocele (pretty little considering)... Thanksgiving was just that an amazing day of Thanks, Hayden had an MRI to see the encephalocele... Only scar tissue, fluid and minimal amount of actual brain tissue was inside... He had brain surgery the next day (2 days old) and only stayed in the hospital for a week, (when we were told he may be in for months) and he was only in a WEEK!!! As he's about to turn 3 I look at him and just can't believe I have this amazing little boy... He is your typical boy too, playing with cars, Superman, dirt... And to think they wanted us to terminate the whole thing... Now he does still has a soft spot that we deal with and thats why we go every year to Primarys to see how its doing... Our Doctor was hopefull that the hole would close on its own. Unfortunatly with the location of the hole the blood flow makes it pulsate to badly to have the bone regenerate on its own... So last week at our appt our great Doctor has decided that it is time to close the hole before Hayden gets any older... On Januray 11, 2010 Hayden will be going into surgery... We have 2 possibilites of closure for his type of defect... Option 1 (recommended by our Doctor) They will put a piece of plastic under the hole then fill the hole with a bone paste that as he gets older and bigger will turn into actual bone... Option 2 is a prosthetic plastic that will fill the hole as well... We had a CAT Scan to see which option will work best for Hayden though his Doctor is hoping for option 1 and so are we... Doc says surgery will be about an hour and his stay will be 1 to 2 days depending...
I'll keep everyone posted!!!!

What an October....
I can honestly say that I cannot wait to be done with this month... This one takes the cake for being a bad month...
It all started with Spankee (picture to the right) sneaking out of the house on Thursday the 8th for a 3 hour "adventure" around the neighborhood... Tony had me convinced that he was so cute that no one would turn him in... Until a neighbor of ours down a couple houses heard us yelling his name and asked what we were looking for... She then told us she had found him playing in the middle of the street and brought him in her house... He was so happy when he saw me and didn't leave my side all night... I'm so glad that it ended well...
Sunday the 10th our disposal decided to quit working which also meant no dishwasher... I so take the dishwasher for granted... I hated having to wash the dishes by hand... (About a week later I figured out the issue and temporarily fixed it... It still needs replaced but it doesn't have to be right now... Also on this day Spankee started acting weird like he was in pain from the "adventure"...
Tuesday the 12th I ended up having to take Spankee to the vet because he was getting worse than better... After the exam the vet couldn't find a real cause for him to be acting sick so with a little pain medicine and so nutrient suppliment he sent us home... He is doing just fine now which is good...
Wednesday the 13th I woke up to Hayden having a fever and starting a pretty deep sounding cough... My first thought, you guessed it Swine Flu so I called the doctor immediaetly and they got us right in... Well luckily not Swine Flu but he did have Croup... So I called out from work and snuggled my sick little boy all day... Though I hate it when he's sick I do love the sick snuggles...
Thursday the 14th What a week huh???? So today Tony stayed home with Hayden and I went to work... For convenience sake for Tony I left him my car and I took his (mine being the bigger family car) in case they needed to go anywhere... Well lets just say neither one of us knew Tony had a rock chip and by the time I went to leave work there was a huge crack down the middle of the window...
CAN WE NOT CATCH A BREAK!!! Ha ha ha
Now during all of this my neck and head had felt like they were in a vice... Probably due to all the stress from the week... So I was referred to a Chiropractor for the very first time... Well ya that didn't go over very well and it caused me an ER visit on Thursday the 22nd... While at work my entire left side went numb, so Tony came and took me to be ruled a sprained neck causing a sevier muscle spasm...
Now I know all I've written is the bad stuff but we did have a few fun moments this month... Hayden is into Star Wars right now... And they actually have a Star Wars concert touring... Now once we saw they were coming into town we thought we would take him for an early birthday present... The concert had the full orchestra that did all the soundtracks for the movie with movie clips from all the Star Wars playing and also narrated by the real person who played C3-Po... Cool right??? Except tickets were a little on the expensive side for a 3 year old birthday present so we decided against it... Until one of our amazing friends (Rachael) got free tickets through work... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU... We had so much fun and Hayden enjoyed it so much... I love watching things through his eyes...
Here are some pics from Star Wars...
What was also fun was they had actual movie props and costumes that you could view...
This is Palpatine... He's the one that kinda creates Darth Vader... He kills people with lightning from his hand... And thats what he and Hayden are doing is showing me their lightning... Funny thing is that there was an actual Darth Vader walking around taking pictures after the concert and Hayden was not having him but was just fine with Palpatine... Go figure...
Let the show begin...
Another fun thing we did this month was Hayden and I took a leaf walk on the Jordan Trail right by our house... I love the colors this time of year...
Though we had a few set backs this month we did have fun too... Halloween pics will come soon.. HAPPY HALLOWEEN

School, a room and a fence...
Where has the time gone??? It is true that the older you get the faster it goes... So I am making sure that I am enjoying every minute no matter what that minute brings...
SCHOOL: Hayden's been in his new Pre-School year now for 3 weeks and he is loving it... This year they started having the kids bring backpacks 2 days a week.. Wednesdays for their Show and Tell items and their weekly projects (Hayden loves show and tell, he wants to do it everyday) and also on Fridays for their end of the week items... He loves his backpack he picked it out all by himself though it is just as big as him... He says he wears his backpack like Dora (Dora the Explorer)... He is growing up so quick... I just want to bottle him up so he'll quit growing up, though every age is fun with new experiences before I know it he'll be moved out with kids of his own... Here are the pics of his first day of school...
His Mario backpack he picked out
Everything laid out the night before for his big first day
A ROOM: So on Labor Day my day was just that a day of Labor... I got the great idea of painting Hayden's room to redecorate it without going to the expense of actually redecorating it... $10.00 later for a gallon of paint his room looks new and different with the exact same furniture and decorations... I first thought about painting his room blue. But then I was afraid of it making the room to dark so at a last minute decision relooking over paint swatches it dawned on me to do his favorite color... ORANGE... Thats right I painted his room orange now I just painted one wall so don't think my son is now living inside a pumpkin... It turned out really cute...
Before
Excited to help Mommy paint
He is such a great little helper... "Hayden look at Mommy"
All done... Hayden calls it his "Bronco room" (Denver Bronco fans)
AND A FENCE: So the house we are living in is actually my Grandpa's house... We've been looking after it now for a couple of years and love it here... I love to watch my son play where I played as a child and I hope to make alot more memories here in the years to come... As much as we do love this house it just wasn't very kid or dog friendly in the backyard... Meaning it wasn't enclosed... So my amazing Aunt helped us this weekend to change that... Saturday morning while the neighborhood slept we were up digging post holes, laying cement, streching chain link and 8 hours later...
The west side of our house (Before)
And After
The east side (Before)
And after
Hayden helping us tighten a bolt all by himself
Thank you again to Arlene we couldn't have done it without you... And to our neighbor John for his help too... We love our backyard... We even had our first family dinner out there last night it was so much fun... Great times to come now...

Life 6 year later...

6 years ago yesterday I was standing in a chapel marrying my best friend and my soul mate... I can't believe it has been 6 years already... Looking back on what we have dealt with this past little while I'm glad we made it... There is no one else I'd want by my side helping me fight through... Though I may not show it as much as I should and though life gets in the way I love you so much baby and I look forward to spending the rest of forever with you... Happy Anniversary!!!!
“Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end.”

Birthdays, Fathers Day and Camping OH MY!!!
Things have been a little upside down around the house lately and I'm sorry about the absence... I'll blog that story a little later...
But now is about my CRAZY busy June I've had... Lets start out with BIRTHDAYS!!!
Tony turned the big 30 this past week (Monday to be exact) and since it was such a momentus birthday I threw him a surprise party on Saturday which I had been planning for a few months... I never spilled the beans and he never caught on... It was so fun to see his shocked reaction when all of our close friends and family were huddled on the back porch (out of the rain at least) waiting for him... He hates being the center of any attention so he was not at to happy with the day being about him but loved the thought behind it... It was a very fun day and I'm glad everyone who braved the weather came to support my little family...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and FATHERS DAY BUBBA !!!
On top of planning the party and celebrating Fathers Day with the dads... I was also planning our first family camping trip to break in the camper... We went to Rockport which is only about 15 to 20 minutes from Park City and so pretty... (Tony and I had never been there before) Our best friends Crystal and Mike took their trailer up too and boy did we have fun!!! We left Salt Lake late Sunday afternoon and made it up there by about 3... Set up camp a just relaxed till dinner... We were right on the water and really couldn't have asked for a prettier spot (I think so at least)... Hayden had so much fun being outdoors... Especially when we drove to the Marina... He is so Daddy's little boy... Loving the water just like Tony... We were scheduled to be there till Wednesday but after dinner Tuesday night we decided to pack up and go home... Overall we had a blast in the camper for our first trip out in over 7 years... I forget how much fun it is to just "get away" from life for a couple days... But its also nice to come back home too!!!
One of our views from camp... Right on the water !!!
My boys fishing... Hayden asked for his own fishing pole... For the time being he was using a long stick that looked like a fishing pole...
My little boy is getting way to big way to fast... He is such a cutie, he puts a smile on face...

My wonderful Mothers Day
I'm a little late posting... Its because I needed to take pictures of my Mothers Day gift and it took awhile... My Mothers Day was on Saturday this year because Tony had to work on Sunday... So I woke up to my boys handing me cards and presents... Hayden drew me a wonderful dolphin in his card and even made me a cute project in school... I LOVE HIS PROJECTS... I open up Tony's card and a note fell out, I continued to read the card then opened the letter... It was an approval on a RV loan!!! I WAS TOTALLY SHOCKED!!! I'd been looking at campers lately on KSL just because I wanted to start camping again and make some fun family memories and Tony and I had always talked about doing a camper once we had kids... So my wonderful Bubba got me one... He said "Get dressed and lets go looking"... We went and had breakfast before we went... We ended up finding it at Motor Sportsland on State and 4000 So (SHOUT OUT) they were great... We were able to pick it up on Monday (the 11th)... Our first camping trip is in a couple of weeks for Tony's birthday... So now its just stocking it with everything we will need... I'm so excited!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Bubba I love you!!!
Side(ish) view
Full view... So on the left is the Queen size bed... and on the right a full... On the box kinda below the full size bed is a shower... On the other side of the camper is the awning...
Sorry the inside ones are kinda dark... But here is the inside... The table here is free standing so I can just take it outside to use...
Here is the view from the full bed... I have a stove and a sink and the cool part is that I also have hot water... And a heater...
Camping here we come!!!
