Our neighbor John... He is the most amazing neighbor anyone can have, I've always told Tony that the world needs more John's because it would make it a better place... I was doing laundry yesterday and I heard John's tiller outside. Thinking he was doing his own garden I continued my laundry... Until I thought "man thats loud, it sounds like he's in our back yard" and sure enough he was tilling my garden for me... He always does stuff like that... He is the sweetest neighbor... So THANK YOU John for everything you do for us, you are a WONDERFUL man!!!
~~~~RANDOM THOUGHT~~~~
We had some of our trees pruned today and man they look GREAT!!!! I'm so excited about the way the yard is looking for this Spring/Summer... There is still so much I want to do but still I'm EXCITED!!!
Monsters v.s. Aliens
It was yet another fun filled Spring weekend around here... Saturday I spent another couple hours getting the yard cleaned up so we can enjoy it this Spring and Summer... Saturday night we did a "First" as a family and went to Hayden's first movie, a drive-in even (Great idea Buga)... Monsters vs Aliens... It was so much fun, I forget how fun drive-in's are... Last time Tony and I went to a drive-in was just right after high school... At this point in Hayden's life we hadn't taken him to a movie theater only because we didn't want to be the people who brought in the kid who can't handle sitting through a movie... But Hayden was a really good boy and LOVED IT... Thats definatly going to be a fun family thing now that we know how he handled it...
Sunday we had a delayed Easter Egg hunt with my side of the family... It kept getting postponed due to weather and family stuff but FINALLY we were able to get together yesterday... It was fun to see Hayden play with his cousins... And I just want to say a big THANK YOU to my Aunt, who has involved Tony and I no matter what family stuff has gone down... We really appreciate it...
Today I'm hoping for alot of the same... Once we get some indoor chores done I'd love to do more outdoor stuff... And thats not happening with me blogging so.....
Have a wonderful day!!!!
~~~~~POTTY UPDATE~~~~~
We are still trying... I get why they say boys are harder than girls now... I've even gotten an actual potty seat to go on the toilet thinking he just didn't like his little potty and its still a struggle... Maybe he just isn't as ready as I was hoping for... I will continue to try but its not going to be a fight... This should be fun and its not right now... ((SIGH))

"Hoppy" Easter
We had a wonderful Easter weekend... Saturday night Tony's dad and family came over to give Hayden an Easter basket and to watch Hayden dye eggs for the first time!!! Unfortunatly Guitar Hero became involved and we didn't dye eggs till later and by then Hayden was not in the best of moods so Daddy had to do most of the dying and Hayden just said what color he wanted...
Sunday we woke up early to find that the Easter Bunny came and yet again spoiled Hayden!!! He found the few eggs that the bunny hid and then we went and had Easter brunch (just the 3 of us).
Later Sunday night we were invited to join the Easter festivities with Crystal's family. They were so sweet for involving Hayden in the kids easter egg hunt and even involved Tony and I in their adult "Golden Egg" hunt... Tony and I didnt want to intude in the family tradition but they wanted us to look, so we did... Crystal found the "golden egg" (first time ever GREAT JOB BUGA!!!) And I actually came up with the silver egg... It was a very fun night with an amazing family THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!
Hayden's still doing alright with the potty training... Some days are better than others... If fact a cute story that happened this week... It was the other day, Hayden was showing his 2 year old side being cranky and him and I were in the bathroom having the "Hayden do you need to go potty" discussion and he was fighting me on it... Just then Tony (who at this point is getting ready for work) walks in and asks him the same thing, Hayden of course says no and this is how the rest of the conversation happened:
Tony: "Well I know what someone will be doing once I leave" (Tony walking away...meaning a nap)
Hayden: (turns to me) "Daddy no clue Mommy"
Me: (trying not to laugh) "No I think Daddy's right its time for your nap"
Some of the things Hayden comes up with just amaze me...
Another funny Hayden-ism: With the whole potty training thing if I ask him if he needs to go he's now been saying "No Mommy no go potty anymore" He's just to smart for his own good...

A boy and his duck
What a beautiful spring day yesterday... During the day Hayden and I worked out in the yard... Well I worked and he played and since it was still so nice when Tony got off of work we took a little walk on the Jordan Trail which is right by our house.. He walked right up to the duck and asked "Hi Quack Quack how you?" He's such a cutie...
Wendover birthday pics coming soon...

So proud...
So this weekend is my birthday... And so far for my birthday week I have been pampered... Sunday I had a 2 hour massage... Yesterday as part of a birthday gift I had my hair colored (pics will come soon) THANK YOU BUGA... And today I had my nails done... But so far my favorite gift happened while I was doing my nails tonight... I get home and Hayden's eating a cookie... I ask Hayden "Did Daddy give you a cookie?" Tony then says "Yeah let me show you why he got a cookie" I follow him into the bathroom and apparently Hayden, out of the blue told daddy "Hayden go potty... Come on daddy come on, Hayden go potty" Tony sat him down in his potty and went... I was just trying to figure out how to begin potty training and Hayden goes and does this... Being a mom is the best thing in the world... This is the best birthday ever... I think he's telling me he's finally ready... Man I'm so happy right now... After his bath I took these pics of him and his potty...
