"Hoppy" Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend... Saturday night Tony's dad and family came over to give Hayden an Easter basket and to watch Hayden dye eggs for the first time!!! Unfortunatly Guitar Hero became involved and we didn't dye eggs till later and by then Hayden was not in the best of moods so Daddy had to do most of the dying and Hayden just said what color he wanted...

Sunday we woke up early to find that the Easter Bunny came and yet again spoiled Hayden!!! He found the few eggs that the bunny hid and then we went and had Easter brunch (just the 3 of us).

Later Sunday night we were invited to join the Easter festivities with Crystal's family. They were so sweet for involving Hayden in the kids easter egg hunt and even involved Tony and I in their adult "Golden Egg" hunt... Tony and I didnt want to intude in the family tradition but they wanted us to look, so we did... Crystal found the "golden egg" (first time ever GREAT JOB BUGA!!!) And I actually came up with the silver egg... It was a very fun night with an amazing family THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!

Hayden's still doing alright with the potty training... Some days are better than others... If fact a cute story that happened this week... It was the other day, Hayden was showing his 2 year old side being cranky and him and I were in the bathroom having the "Hayden do you need to go potty" discussion and he was fighting me on it... Just then Tony (who at this point is getting ready for work) walks in and asks him the same thing, Hayden of course says no and this is how the rest of the conversation happened:

Tony: "Well I know what someone will be doing once I leave" (Tony walking away...meaning a nap)
Hayden: (turns to me) "Daddy no clue Mommy"
Me: (trying not to laugh) "No I think Daddy's right its time for your nap"

Some of the things Hayden comes up with just amaze me...

Another funny Hayden-ism: With the whole potty training thing if I ask him if he needs to go he's now been saying "No Mommy no go potty anymore" He's just to smart for his own good...
